Community Education
When it comes to personal finances, an ounce of prevention really
is worth a pound of cure.
We are happy to offer educational programs, in small friendly
group settings, for a broad range of people. Our seminars and
workshops are designed to educate, inform and engage participants.
CCCS of NH & VT can adapt its educational programs to effectively meet the
needs of people in a wide variety of settings and circumstances.
Our educational programs are available free to attendees.
Adult Education. For most of
us, a practical, working knowledge of personal money management
doesn't come naturally. CCCS of NH & VT adult education classes give you
the skills you need to make smart financial decisions that are
in your best interest.
Work-Site Educational Programs.
CCCS of NH & VT provides work-site seminars for employees. Our educational
professionals are available to address staff meetings or to conduct
brown bag lunch-and-learn workshops. We can also schedule programs
to serve multiple shifts.
Financial Literacy for Youth.
The sooner our children are exposed to sound personal money management
practices, the better their odds are for success. In the world
of budgeting, credit, and debt, it really is a jungle out there.
CCCS of NH & VT offers educational programs tailored to youth and makes presentations
at schools, to youth groups, and through youth-oriented organizations.
Social Services & Community Organizations.
CCCS of NH & VT will work with diverse social service organizations to present
seminars and workshops to low-income families, displaced workers,
single parents, seniors, teen parents, women's groups and divorce
groups, and many more.
Creditors & Civic/Professional Organizations.
Our educators are available to explain the services we offer,
review client demographics, discuss ways to collaborate, and suggest
means of preventative action.
Our educational programs cover a wide range of topics. A workshop
or seminar can be designed as a single presentation, or we can
design a series of workshops designed to address a variety of
issues. Out most requested topics include the following (if don't
see one you want, ask us to create one for you!).
